Surrey, a city in British Columbia situated to the southeast of Vancouver, is an expansive fast-developing urban region characterized by its rich cultural diversity accentuated by people of various ethnicities residing in it. Essentially, the city is made up of various neighborhoods referred to as Whalley, Newton, and Guildford amongst many others with each area having its fair share of facilities, parks, and social life.
Surrey has many colleges and universities as well as other educational centers such as Simon Fraser University (SFU) and it, therefore, becomes busy with business and technology evolution. The city also provides a lot of outdoor activities where they have facilities that support hiking, riding bikes among other things, and going out to appreciate nature.
Surrey is mostly concerned with construction, improving transportation networks, and encouraging development which makes it a vibrant and growing region of the metro city of Vancouver.
