Montague is a small community in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, Canada under the jurisdiction of Three Rivers Town. Previously independent, this town amalgamated with Georgetown and several surrounding localities in 2018 which are Brudenell, Cardigan, Lorne Valley and part of Lower Montague alongside Valleyfield along with three other neighbouring non-incorporated places.
Montague is among the largest populated areas of Kings County and it’s situated nearby Montague River, which divides the townships of Lot 52 from Lot 59. The community also has two grocery stores and three general merchandise shops. Montague is home to a variety of independent businesses, fast food restaurants, banks, and car dealers. This diversity in services makes it a convenient destination for residents and visitors alike.
