Can I Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check Through This Service?
No, you cannot! Our services cater to the needs of Canada's Criminal Record Checks (CPIC) alone. We use the name and birth date of an individual for this check. We do not use VSS (Vulnerable Sector Search) for this purpose. As per RCMP policy, only the police agency of a locality is entitled to carry out this search.
What is a Vulnerable Sector Check?

You will receive an email of the CPIC check as per the process. However, if you need the original document mailed to you, please reach out to the team at Globeia. The original document will be mailed to your address for an additional courier charge.
What Documents Do I Need to Get a CPIC Check Done?
You need to have a valid identity proof (not expired) indicating your name, date of birth and photograph.
I Previously Received an In-Person Police Check Locally With ‘Incomplete’ Status But I Don't Have a Criminal Record. Can Globeia Help Me Get a Negative Result for the CPIC Check?
CPIC check results are based on the search results based on your name and date of birth as reflected in the local or national police database and the national repository of criminal records database. If you have already received incomplete results, the team at Globeia cannot help you get different results. You would need to complete a
fingerprint submission to the RCMP to obtain the criminal record check results.
Is It Necessary For Me To Have a Canadian Address to Get a CPIC Check?
The CPIC check application form seeks information on your address history. You won’t be able to proceed with the search without a Canadian Address mentioned in your address history along with your duration of stay at that address.
My Canadian ID Has Expired, Can I Still Apply for the CPIC Check?
You need to have a valid photo ID in order to proceed, Canadian IDs are not mandatory for the process. You can proceed with a foreign ID as well as long as it is valid and in English.
How Long are CPIC Results Valid?
The validity of the CPIC results is determined by the organization requesting the check. We recommend that you reconfirm with the authorities who require this document to know the exact period of validity as it varies.
