| Size | The required photo size is 35mm x 45mm. |
| Color | Full color photo is a must. |
| Head size and position | Full face should be seen in the center of the picture and look straight into the camera. |
| Background | White background. |
| Recency | : A recent picture taken within last 6 months. |
| Expressions | Only neutral facial expressions are allowed. |
| Eyes | Open eyes are important. |
| Glasses | As per the photo requirements, prescription glasses which do not produce glare in the picture are permitted only. |
| Headgear | Headgear is not acceptable except when you wear it for religious reasons. |
| Quantity needed | Two (2) to four (4) photos depending on the visa type. |
