McAdam is a little village found in the southwestern part of New Brunswick and is mostly known for its railway history and beautiful landscapes. It was previously an industrious railway center, and one could say that the activity revolved around the famous McAdam Railway Station. In the present time, however, the station is a historical place that encourages more people to come and look at its architectural design and find out more about the Canadian railroads.
Apart from this railway culture, McAdam is also characterized by a tranquil and closely-knit community. The village can attract other such guests because of the presence of beautiful personal lakes and forests – it is truly a place where people can enjoy nature at its best. Therefore, fishing and hiking, as well as birdwatching, are some of the activities practiced in the region as they provide an opportunity to reconnect with the natural environment. It is a village that is filled with history and warmth, welcoming anyone who wishes to come and visit.
