The city of Kelowna is situated in the region of southern British Columbia, Canada, and lies in Okanagan Valley along the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake. It is surrounded by many provincial parks, pine forests, vineyards, orchards as well as mountains. This urban city has two main attractions including lakeside City Park and an exciting cultural district.
It has more than twenty vineyards which makes the city famous for its wine tours and tastings. The climate and soil in this region are appropriate for grape growing and fruit production, hence earning it worldwide recognition for its wineries, farm-to-table restaurants, microbreweries and distilleries.
